Rum Drink Recipes

Rum is a distilled spirit that is created by the byproducts of sugarcane, which is why it mixes great in drinks to create a great cocktail. Here are a few rum drink recipes that are sure to get a rave review at your next gathering.

Daiquiri

Ingredients:

  • 1.25 oz Rum
  • 1oz Lemon juice
  • Dash of syrup

To prepare, shake well with ice and serve in a cocktail glass. Garnish with a red cherry.

Mai Tai

Ingredients:

  • 1oz White rum
  • .25oz Dark rum
  • Dash Orange curacao
  • 2oz Pineapple juice
  • 2oz Orange juice

Shake well with ice, add curacao and serve in a collins glass. Garnish with cherry & orange.

Pina Colada

Ingredients:

  • 1.25oz Rum
  • 4oz Pineapple juice
  • 1 Teaspoon Coconut cream

Blend with ice cubes and serve in a collins glass. Garnish with cherry & pineapple.

Planter’s Punch

Ingredients:

  • 1.25oz Rum
  • 2oz Orange juice
  • .5oz Lemon juice
  • 2oz Pineapple juice
  • Dash of grenadine
  • Ginger Ale

Pour over ice and top with Ginger Ale Serve in collins glass with cherry & orange as garnish.

Zombie

Ingredients:

  • 1oz White rum
  • .25oz Dark rum
  • Dash Orange curacao
  • 2oz Pineapple juice
  • 2oz Orange juice
  • .5oz Lemon juice

Shake well with ice. Serve with cherry & orange garnish in a collins glass.
